Raisa is a Filipino-American illustrator and registered nurse with a strong passion for art ever since she was a kid. Growing up, Raisa loved drawing characters from anime shows and she enjoyed joining school art contests. Raisa is heavily influenced by the anime world's colorful graphics, masterfully-designed characters and the rich Japanese culture.

Raisa finished her bachelor's degree in nursing in 2014 in the Philippines. At 20 years old, she moved to U.S. where she's currently practicing as a Registered Nurse and found her passion in caring for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Coming from a Filipino background, she focused her early 20's on her career to give back to her parents.

It was not until 2021 that her passion for art ignited once again. Raisa promised to herself to never let that passion go away-- something she regretfully left more than once. She found her niche in digital art and she continues to grow her skills every day. As an artist, Raisa devotes her soul into pouring her utmost artistic expression as she continues her lifelong art journey. She hopes to not only reach many people with her artworks but also to evoke people's emotions through her art.
